>> A train struck a car and a tow truck in Prince George’s County Saturday night. The tow truck was attempting to pull a stopped Lexus off the tracks when a CSX freight train struck both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
>> >> District police are getting serious about street crime, even taking to the streets themselves to pursue criminals on foot. Saturday morning, police arrested three robbery suspects near Columbia Heights after they fled from a hold-up by knife.
>> Howard Theatre is set to re-open April 12 after a $29 million renovation. WAMU has a sneak peak of the renewed theater that helped launch the careers of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and others.
